Product Overview

HN-8806A/B is a two-component, addition-cure RTV silicone potting compound with a 1:1 mixing ratio. It features low viscosity, excellent electrical insulation, and thermal conductivity of 0.76 W/m·K, making it ideal for protecting sensitive electronics in harsh environments. It cures at room temperature or with heat, with no by-products, low shrinkage, and no corrosion. Suitable for applications requiring high temperature resistance (-50°C to 250°C), moisture protection, and vibration damping.

    Handling & Curing Instructions

    1. Preparation – Stir Components A and B separately before use.

    2. Weighing – Weigh A and B in a 1:1 ratio.

    3. Mixing – Mix thoroughly in a clean container. Stir in one direction to minimize bubbles.

    4. Degassing – Vacuum degas for 5–10 minutes if required.

    5. Potting – Pour into clean, dry housings. For large parts, consider staged potting.

    6. Curing – Cure at room temperature (4–12 hrs) or heat at 80°C for 0.2 hrs.


    Important Notes

    • Store sealed in a cool, dry place. Shelf life: 6 months.

    • Avoid contact with tin, sulfur, amine, phosphorus, or heavy metals – they inhibit curing.

    • Do not mix with condensation silicones, epoxy, or polyurethane.

    • Stir evenly to avoid partial non-curing.

    • Vacuum degassing after potting can improve thermal performance.
